The forest lizard

I am well-known a forest lizard, among zoologists also as Zootoca vivipara. As a lizard I belong to the class of the reptiles. Characteristics: I can become large up to 18 cm. I am a slim animal with very short legs and a small, flattened head. Like each forest lizard I am brown and have bright, strichförmige marks on the top side. My throat kan knows or blue its, my belly bright or dark-yellow. Spreading: In Europe I am far common. One finds me in Germany, in north Spain, in Serbia, in the alps and in Eastern Europe. Reproduction: With end of the winter peace we begin with the mating time. One calls us ovovivipar, thus egg-lebendgebährend that is called the animals slip directly after the female the egg put. The females bring 4-12 young animals to the world. The young animals are 3-4 cm largely and have a uniformly black-brown camouflage colouring.
